The CGB offers a wide range of options to researchers. Our genome sequencing and Nimblegen microarray services are available through a chargeback service. We can also contract out scientist time for consultation in both bioinformatics (for programming or analysis) and genomics (for running an experiment on high performance lab equipment). We also provide access to various pieces of equipment, both laboratory and computing.

Projects/consultation: Costs are negotiated on a case-by-case basis. Our objective is to minimize the costs of start-up projects that will lead to joint grant applications. In cases where joint funding is not appropriate, charges will be structured to recover personnel, consumables, and overhead/administrative costs.

Equipment: Equipment is currently available for use by IUB groups when it is not being used for in-house or collaborative projects.
